This is a wicker, hemp and palm leaf basket used in "ARI'S KITCHEN" from the 20th Century Fox, Tim Burton film from 2001, PLANET OF THE APES. This is absolutely genuine, and not a reproduction or copy. This item originally came from 20th Century Fox and has a copy of the receipt from Fox on the C.O.A. to prove it. This very cool basket that has some studio applied "age" in the form of a sprayed on treatment that makes it look a bit dirty. It is crude looking and was obviously hand made. This measures about 16"in diameter and 16" tall.
