This prop knife is from "ARIS KITCHEN" from the 20th Century Fox, Tim Burton film from 2001, PLANET OF THE APES. This is absolutely genuine, and not a reproduction or copy. It came originally from 20th Century Fox and has a copy of the receipt from Fox on the C.O.A. to prove it. This cool prop knife that has some studio applied "age" in the form of dulling of the finish with paint as well as some rust spots on the blade. It is crud looking and was obviously hand made. It has a copper clad handle that has been wrapped with some type of reed or grass. This measures about 8.25" long.
